This guide is will show how to replace a faulty hard drive.

    • Flip laptop upside down and locate the battery as shown in the images.

    • Push in the tab on the battery and lift up. The battery should detach very easily.

    • Use a #00 screwdriver to remove the single screw located in the center of the hard drive cover.

What size is the hard drive, you know, to buy a new one?

Is it a sata drive compatible or pata? It’s older and most laptops from that year hadn't converted to sata hdd.
