Introduction

The DeWalt D26451 is much like other sanders of its brand. The D26451 is 5 inches and single speed at 12,000 RPM. According to DeWalt, newer models have improved dust collection and have less vibration during use, but that is not the case for the discontinued DeWalt D26451.

Dust collection is one of the D26451's poorer properties. The dust bag may become clogged or full, or just need replaced all together.

In this repair guide, we will be teaching you how to empty and replace the dust collection bag on the DeWalt D26451.
