Introduction

Welcome to the Dewalt Hammer Drill DW511 power cord replacement guide. The power cord is an important part of the drill that delivers power to the device. You would want to replace the power cord because of a frayed or damaged cord. A common issue with a damaged power cord is the drill not running.

Caution should be taken when working with the power cord. It needs to be unplugged before working on any part of the drill.
