Introduction

Before beginning, ensure that all of your vehicle's lights are off, the key is removed from the ignition, and the parking brake is engaged.

Open the hood of the car and locate the silver locking pin.

Gently grasp the top of the pin and pull it directly up until it is completely removed from the engine bay.

Place one hand on the front of the headlight and the other behind it.

Gently rock the headlight back and forth until it starts to detach from the car.

Gently pull the two metal retainers away from each other.

Remove the plastic housing that protects the bulb.

Disconnect the wiring harness by pushing down on the middle of the two clips while wiggling each piece away from each other.

Pull the low beam bulb out of its socket by gently grasping the black plastic knob and rotating 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

Lock in the new bulb by rotating it 90 degrees clockwise.

Push the two clips back together to reconnect the wiring harness.

Push the back of the headlight housing back into place.

Push the two metal retainers towards each other to lock it.

Line up the indent on the headlight with the opening on the housing and gently push the headlight completely into place.

Completely push the headlight all the way into its housing until it is flush with the car frame.

Push the headlight locking pin back into place, minding the holes in which it must be threaded through.

Close the hood and insert the key into the ignition. Turn the lights on.
