One can experience discomfort when resting your arm or closing the door due to a broken inner door grip in your car. When replacing the door grip, use the correct part: the 07-08 Honda Fit Left Front Door Grip Cover NH167L (Graphite Black). Following the steps in this guide, you can easily install the new grip and restore full functionality to your car's door.
Before beginning this guide, place the car in park, power off the ignition, and engage the parking brake.

Open the door to access the interior door panel. Remove any dirt or tape from the door handle.

Remove the taped or broken inner door handle from the inner door panel of the car.

Retrieve the door grip and hook the door grip to the panel by the hook that is attached to the door panel.

Starting with the right side, adjust the door grip to the claw attached to the door panel's right side.

Push the door grip to the claw attached to the door panel to lock the door grip so it attaches.

Finally, press the left side of the door grip to the far left of the door panel to align with the door clips so that it holds the left side balancing the right.

Once each side of the door grip is attached to the door panel the inner door grip/handle is fixed.
