Introduction

Follow this guide to replace your Ford Mustang’s car battery. With an average shelf life of approximately 5 years, needing to replace a car battery isn’t an uncommon occurrence. Without a functioning car battery, your Ford Mustang will not be able to start, and may also experience other electrical problems if the battery is near the end of its life but has not died yet.

Be sure to fully turn off your car before starting any work on it, and also follow general electrical safety advice!
