The Sumner Material Lift model 784752 (also called the model 2412) can reach heights up to 12 feet with a loading capacity of 450 pounds. It is designed for steel erectors, facility management, industrial maintenance, and electrical contractors. Because of its one-piece design, this drywall lift is ideal for one-person operation.
With the forks down, the model 2412 has a maximum height of 12 feet, but with the forks up the lifter raises materials up to 12 feet and 11.75 inches. The forks can be reversed with the provided plunger pins. When not in operation, the lift can be folded up for more compact storage and transportation. The lift’s wench requires eight cranks per one foot of height. Additional parts are available for specific jobs, such as a pipe cradle for moving pipes and a steel tray add-on to stabilize heavy, dense items.
