Background and Identification

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) is a member of the long line of Samsung Smartphones. Notable upgrades from previous models include improved battery life, enhanced camera capabilities, a sleeker design, and a more powerful processor.

Since the 2016 version, Samsung produced another Galaxy A9 in 2018. The 2018 version has a slightly larger display, more powerful cameras (24 MP both front and rear), significantly more RAM (6/8 GB of RAM in the 2018 version), and facial recognition.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) is a thin (7.44 mm), rectangular touchscreen device. It has a 6.0-inch screen that extends almost the full length of the smartphone, with only small screenless areas at the top and bottom of the device. The Samsung logo is visible on the front of the device just above the screen. A fingerprint sensor unlock button is also located on the front of the device. It comes in three colors: pink gold, gold, and white.
