The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) Android smartphone is manufactured by Samsung Electronics as part of the Galaxy A series. It was introduced with the Galaxy A3 (2017), and Galaxy A5 (2017) in January 2017. The A7 (2017) sports a 5.7-inch display, whereas the A3 (2017) and A5 (2017) feature 4.7-inch and 5.2-inch displays, respectively. The A7 (2017) was released with black, gold, pink, and blue bodies. The A7 (2017) was available in Africa, Latin America, and Asia, but not available in North America, Europe, and China. The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) are available in Europe.

The A7 (2017) includes 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 256 GB with extra MicroSD cards. The A7 (2017) contains a 3600 mAh non-removable battery with fast-charging capabilities. It’s predecessor, the A7 (2016) contained a 3300 mAh battery and had a 5.5-inch display. Unlike the A7 (2016), the A7 (2017) features a dedicated MicroSD card slot allowing a MicroSD card and a second SIM Card in dual SIM models to be used simultaneously.

The A7 (2017) features dust resistant and water resistant in 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. It also includes Always-on Display and a scratch-resistant 3-D glass backing.
