Background and Identification
The Incanto Classic is an automatic espresso machine designed by the Italian coffee machine company Saeco. The device is mostly made from stainless steel and comes in silver and black colors. You can identify this model by looking for the words “Incanto” and “Classic” written on the left side of the front of the device. There are a few other models in Saeco’s Incanto line of products including the Rondo, the De Luxe, and the Sirius.
The Incanto Classic has a receptacle for coffee beans on the top with a grinder that you can adjust to fine-tune the degree to which the beans are ground. The machine also has a secondary chute for pre-ground coffee powder and an override button for using this input. On the front of the Classic there is a rotatable steam nozzle which produces steam quickly thanks to a separate boiler in the device. The front side also has the nozzle where brewed coffee pours out. The nozzle uses the Saeco Brewing System (SBS) to allow you to choose the strength of the coffee by twisting a single knob. You can attach a spout attachment to the nozzle which will split the output into two streams for two cups at once.
The main component inside the Incanto Classic is the brew group, which is the heart of the machine. You can remove it easily by opening up the front case. In case it goes bad, you can find replacements online.
