Background and Identification

The RCA 10 Viking Pro is a two-in-one hybrid tablet. It has a keyboard that can detach and reattach from the tablet using magnets, so it can be used as a tablet or small laptop. This versatility is marketed generally towards older audiences and business professionals who don’t want to carry a full laptop around. It is priced at around $100.

It competes with the Kindle Fire (you can see a comparison with the Fire HD 8 here), and is slightly more expensive, although with better specs as a result. The tablet was well-received by both customers and critics, who generally agreed that its issues (poor camera quality, limited RAM) were a reflection of the low price, and were offset by several good qualities. These include the well-made keyboard and good battery life.
