Philips Kettle HD4685/90

The Philips Kettle HD4685/90 is a 2400-Watt electric water kettle manufactured by Phillips. The HD4685/90 model features a 1.0-liter capacity and digital temperature control. The HD4685/90 was available in black, red, and stainless steel body colors.

The Philips Kettle model HD4685/90 can heat water to 40, 60, 80, or 100°C with digital temperature settings. Each hot drink has an ideal temperature: green tea needs water up to 80°C, instant coffee 90°C and black tea, hot chocolate or soup 100°C. The kettle also has a Keep Warm function that keeps the water at a set temperature chosen by the user. The kettle also features a turning lid with a large opening for easier filling and cleaning. It includes water level indicators on both sides of the kettle and produces a ringing sound when the water has reached the desired temperature. A light on the kettle indicates when it is switched on, and the kettle includes a 360-degree pirouette base. The HD4685/90 model is designed to keep a cool wall to prevent burns and includes boil-dry protection and automatic shut-off. It features an anti-calcium filter for filtering water and preventing calcium build-up.

The HD4685/90 kettle includes the name “Phillips” in capital letters on its side and an array of buttons near the kettle’s handle. The kettle includes non-slip feet and a flat heating element.
