Background and Identification

The OnePlus 6T (model number: A6010) is an Android smartphone released by OnePlus on November 6th, 2018. The model number can be located within the “Unlock The Speed” pamphlet that comes with every new OnePlus phone. Open the pamphlet and look under the “Quick Start Guide" section. The model number should be the last sentence within this grouping of information. The phone was released as a hardware upgrade to the previously released OnePlus 6, and features an improved teardrop camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner, while removing the 3.5 mm audio jack that was featured in the OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 6T was succeeded in May of 2019 by the OnePlus 7.

The device weighs 177g, with gorilla glass 6 on the front screen of the phone and gorilla glass 5 on the back of the phone. It comes with a 6.41-inch AMOLED FHD+ display and a Snapdragon 845 processor, while boasting a larger battery life than the OnePlus 6 with a 3700 mAh battery. There are three cameras on the device: both 16 and 20 megapixel cameras on the back and a 16 megapixel camera on the front screen.

The OnePlus 6T supports 4G, LTE, Dual VoLTE, 3G, 2G, and CDMA.
