Background and Identification

The Ohmeda 5250 is an all in one respiratory monitoring device. It was manufactured by Datex-Ohmeda previously, but has since been retired.

The Ohmeda 5250 aggregates all information, controls, and alarms into one electroluminescent display panel on the front of the device. It also makes use of infrared touchscreen control technology.

The Ohmeda 5250 can be identified by the inscription located near the top of the front cover of the device. The inscription should be in white text on two lines. The top should read "Ohmeda" and the bottom should read "5250 RCM".
