Background and Identification
The O-Two CAREvent is a medical ventilator typically used in ATV+ and MRI settings. The ventilator is produced by O-Two Medical Technologies and is intended to assist patients who are having trouble breathing, primarily due to trauma.
- O-Two Medical Technologies have produced state-of-the-art products since 1971.
- O-Two Medical exports to over 60 different countries and possesses more than 40 patents.
- The CAREvent ATV+ and MRI consist of a portable control module, input hose and optional single use (or reusable where available) patient circuit. The control groupings are designed to aid in the selection and setting of the breathing parameters. The groupings are colored on the controls to aid in ease of use.
- The CAREvent ATV+ and MRi are for use in pre hospitals, intra hospitals, interhopsitals, and air ambulance settings. They are designed to be used by suitably trained personnel. The device offers various modes that support the transportation and resuscitation of a variety of patients who require ventilatory support.
- The ATV+ and MRI are time-cycled which provides a range of frequencies for ventilation. They also include Minute Volume settings to provide a range of delivered tidal volumes and ventilation rates.
