Background and Identification

The Nokia X2-00 was introduced in July 2010 as the first phone in the Nokia Xseries. The phone includes a 1000-entry phonebook and keeps call records. It runs on the Series 40 operating system and includes several pre-installed games. The phone also supports messaging, data-connections, Bluetooth, and USB connections, but lacks infrared, Wi-Fi, and GPS.

The X2-00 model includes a Mini-SIM and a dedicated microSDHC slot. The phone is sold with a 2 GB microSDHC card. The Nokia X2-00 features a 2.2-inch display with a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels. It was sold with 48 MB or 128 MB of internal memory and 64 MB of RAM. The X2-00 has a 5-megapixel rear camera and video recording with a QVGA (Quarter Video Graphics Array) camera. The phone's 860 mAh battery is removable, meaning that the phone's battery is not attached to the inside of the device using any kind of permanent adhesive, making repair and replacement easier than for non-removable batteries.

The Nokia X2-00 includes the name "Nokia" in capital letters in the center of the phone's top bezel. It features an aluminum back panel that gives the phone a metallic appearance. The X2-00 model was sold in two color schemes: red on black and blue on silver.
