Background

The Nikon F301(known as the N2000 in the U.S) was Nikon's first SLR camera to feature a motor driven film advance which is able to advance film at a rate of 2.5fps. It was also the first Nikon to have the ability to recognize DX encoded film. The F301 has many features, including electronically controlled shutter speed. The top panel is laid out with an assortment of dials to control the camera's features and functions. This camera can be easily identified by the "N2000" (or "F301" outside the U.S) that appears on the front of the top panel.
