Background and Identification
The Nikon Coolpix S7000 is one of the ultra-slim cameras of the Coolpix series. It can be identified by the model name on the top left side of the camera, printed above the lens. It should be labeled "Coolpix S7000" and may be also identified by the "20x Wide Full HD" label on the front top right corner of the camera. It is the only "Coolpix" camera with this zoom range.
In 2015, Nikon expanded their Coolpix series by producing many types of cameras with various special capabilities. The Nikon Coolpix S7000 differentiates itself from similar models with a unique 20x optical zoom feature which satisfies more consumer needs. Being a pocket sized camera, the Nikon Coolpix S7000 packs a big punch with a 16-megapixels camera and full HD 1080/60i video capture. It has built-in Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication technology (NFC) so you can transfer photos and videos simply and wirelessly from camera to phone. It also has a 4-axis Hybrid Vibration Reduction (VR) which helps with taking smooth videos and stable pictures.
