Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulties with the Neato Botvac 65, try referring to the Neato Botvac 65 Troubleshooting page.

Background and Identification

The Neato Botvac 65 is a robotic vacuum that was sold exclusively at COSTCO, which has unfortunately been discontinued. This robot functions exactly like the standard models of the Neato Botvac, however, this model does not have the side brushes built in. It uses an infrared laser that maps the room and cleans the area it has mapped. A full charge of the battery will take anywhere from two to three hours to complete, with the charge being sufficient for the Botvac to complete the daily cleaning assigned to it before returning to the charging station. Typically, the standard battery shipped with the device will last a full year without needing to be replaced.

The most common problem that arises with this vacuum is that it gets stuck under furniture or becomes sluggish on thick rugs. Additionally, another problem that occurs is if you move the robot to another location and it can't find the charging station. You will have to manually put the robot on the charging station for it to charge and continue its cleaning cycle.
