Background
Engineer Carl Miele and businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded Miele in 1899 in Herzebrock, Germany. By 1958 the company added electric tumble dryers to its home appliance lineup.

Identification
The model number can be found inside the dryer, around the drum. Common models include the T1 TDB120WP, T1 TWB120WP, and the T1 TWI180WP.
