This version of the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 was commonly bundled with Microsoft Wireless Desktop 6000. This mouse was bundled with the Wireless Desktop 6000 Keyboard and uses one 4-pin type A USB RF receiver for both devices. Motion is tracked by an infrared laser. Scrolling is tracked by a photo interrupter circuit.

The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 was also sold as an individual mouse but is metallic grey with grey rubber side grips.
