Background and Identification
The Micro Medical MicroLoop is a handheld device, also called a spirometer, that measures how much air a patient can breathe in and out. This diagnostic device can then provide feedback about how well a lung is functioning. By breathing into the machine through a plastic tube, medical personnel can diagnose pulmonary diseases and deficiencies. The model number for The MicroLoop is ML 3535S.
This small, grey, handheld device has a color touch screen, Gold Standard transducer, fast comment abilities, large patient information database, and a special graphics screen for children. It is also equipped with a docking station that can connect to a computer and printer. The docking station can also charge the battery.
This medical device has been discontinued and replaced by the MicroDirect MicroLab Spirometer MK8.
