Background and Identification

The Medumat Standard A is a compact, portable machine used to provide emergency ventilation to patients. Users can customize Medumat Standard A’s air mix, respiratory frequency, minute volume, and maximal ventilation pressure to administer medical aid to patients in varying states of emergency.

The Medumat Standard A will produce acoustic and visual alarm if it encounters stenosis, disconnection, decrease in oxygen pressure, low battery, system failure, or the patient does not trigger when the device is in “assisted ventilation” mode. The device will continue to alert the user until the cause of the problem is eliminated.

The Medumat Standard A is powered by a lithium-ion battery and does not rely on an outside charging source. The expected service life of the Medumat Standard A is two years.

The Medumat Standard A weighs 2.4 pounds and its dimensions are 7.4 inches by 4.3 inches by 3.5 inches.
