Background and Identification
The McCulloch MC1275 is a heavy-duty canister steam cleaner that uses ordinary water heated to over 200 degrees Fahrenheit to clean and sanitize a wide variety of surfaces. The steam cleaner includes a variety of attachments to clean greasy tools, floor mats, vehicle wheels, and barbecue grills, among other jobs. Steam cleaners are designed to clean things like carpets, upholstery, and other furnishings that can’t be thoroughly cleaned with soap and water.
The McCulloch MC1275 can hold up to 48 fluid ounces of water and requires eight minutes to heat. It has a maximum steam duration of 45 minutes before it must be refilled. The steam cleaner releases approximately 33 to 37 grams of steam per minute at a pressure of 43 pounds per square inch.
The McCulloch MC1275 includes a 10-foot hose (including its handle) and a 15.7-foot power cord with a three-pin grounded plug. The steam cleaner includes a mostly grey or black plastic body with a yellow section that includes the name “McCulloch” in black capital letters along with the McCulloch emblem, which depicts a mountain in the shape of an ‘M.’ The cleaner’s yellow section includes a door that allows users to refill the cleaner’s water. The cleaner includes two larger front wheels and two small rear wheels. The cleaner’s handle and steam head can be rested on the cleaner’s back, which includes a fixture designed to hold the steam head.
