Background

The Makita XRJ06 18V x 2 (36V) LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Reciprocating Saw is a power tool that was created for small demolition jobs. Makita released their LXT line of power tools in 2005. It is used for outdoor and indoor projects, all-day job use, and in the toughest environmental conditions, such as in the rain and dust.

Major features of the Makita XRJ06 is its ability to run on two 18 volt batteries and its ability to deliver faster cutting strokes per minute. This device has two speeds for cutting and has a brushless motor that prevents overheating to ensure extended battery life. The crank mechanism on the Makita XRJ06 minimizes blade deflection and reduces vibration. This device also has an LED light to assist with night time projects.

The serial number of the Makita XRJ06 is located below the back of the soft grip handle. This tool is teal and black and is 17-3/4" long. The Makita logo is printed on the right and left sides of the soft grip handle.
