Background and Identification

Logitech originated in Switzerland when it was founded in 1981 by Daniel Borel and Pierluigi Zappacosta, both Stanford alumni, and Giacomo Marini, a former engineer at Olivetti. The company sells various electronic accessories, including computer mice, keyboards, speakers, smart home devices, and more.

The Logitech G500 is a member of the Logitech computer mouse line. The Logitech G500 is optimized for gaming, providing users with 10 programmable buttons. The mouse also comes with 27 grams of extra weight, allowing the user to modify the mouse’s feel until it is exactly how they want it. The G500 also has a “gaming-grade laser,” meaning it enables the user to be precise, even at fast hand speeds. Additionally, the G500 houses onboard memory. This allows settings to be retained within the device, even if the user plugs it into a different computer.

The Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse has a flat base with a curved surface. The mouse has physical buttons on the side, as well as a scroll wheel. The mouse is black and silver in color, with the Logitech logo printed on the top of the device.
