Background and Identification
The Lincoln model K2513-1 is an electric flux-cored welder designed for basic wire welding projects and repairs. The welder requires power from a 120-Volt outlet. It can output between 30 Amps and 125 Amps at a rate of 50 - 500 inches of wire per minute. The welder includes two nobs for controlling the output and wire feed speed. The K2513-1 model is preset for gas-less flux-cored welding for steel welding both indoors and outside.
The Lincoln model K2513-1 has a fully adjustable drive system that reduces the chance of wire tangling and crushing. The welding gun features a brass-to-brass connection that is designed to enhance connectivity. A cast-aluminum gearbox produces additional drive torque and results in quiet operation. The welder is designed to have smooth arc starts for minimal spatter of molten metal. Users can weld up to 5/16-inch steel using self-shielded Lincoln Electric Innershield® (FCAW-S) wires.
The Lincoln model K2513-1 can be identified by its red and black body with the name “Lincoln Electric” printed in capital letters on both sides of the welder. Other identifying information is printed on the front of the welder underneath the two control nobs. The welder includes a work clamp and 10 feet of cable as well as a wire spindle adapter for 8-inch diameter spools of wire.
