The Lenovo Thinkpad SL300 was released in 2008, as part of Lenovo's Thinkpad series, known for its business oriented features. it was designed to offer a more budget- friendly option for small and medium-sized business. The SL300 featured a 13.3inch display, Intel core 2 Duo processors, and ran windows Vista ( with the option to upgrade to window 7 ) it has a classic Thinkpad keyboard, various connectivity options and decent battery life. Positioned as a cost- effective alternative to higher- end Thinkpad models. The Lenovo Thinkpad SL300 is the last representative of the SL-Series. The SL300 is even more impressive than its 14.1-inch big brother, Just be sure to get the 9-cell battery. SL300 had few problems with (trackpoint and fan control) but those problem were solved in one of the updates . Lenovo does a great job of balancing features, performance and price with the ThinkPad SL300.
