The Lenovo IdeaPad U530 is a slim multimedia laptop notebook released October of 2014. The connectivity of this laptop supports MMC and SD cards. The ports can be seen on the side of the laptop. The left side includes the Novo button, LAN, HDMI, USB 3.0, and audio port. The right side includes a card reader, 2x USB 2.0 and power port.
When the Lenovo IdeaPad U530 is opened the user can see the smooth surface touch pad and the keyboard. The keyboard is described as "AccuType" which offers a comfortable typing surface and features a back light. The touch screen of the laptop supports ten fingers and has a smooth sliding surface. The display is 15.6-inches large and has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.

Lenovo's IdeaPad U530 is visually identified by a silver metal outside casing with the Lenovo company logo in the bottom right corner.
