Background

The Lenovo Ideapad 300 is a sleek and simple laptop that is great on a budget. It was released in 2015 and was discontinued three years later. Boasting affordability on it’s website, this model was designed to be a cheaper alternative to other products like it. The Ideapad 300 14” (pictured here) retailed for $349.99 initially, but was reduced to $299 until it was recently discontinued. While it is not the flashiest laptop on the market, it’s reliability made it a great choice on a budget.

Identification

The Lenovo Ideapad 300 is a rectangular laptop with rounded edges. The lid of the laptop comes in an onyx black or platinum grey with a dark grey bottom. The deck of the laptop has a reflective metal finish which contrasts against dark gray keys. The model number is 81DE.
