Background and Identification
The Karcher BR40/10 C Adv is a compact walk-behind floor scrubbing and polishing machine meant for use on hard floors. It is manufactured and sold by Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG, a family-owned business that sells cleaning equipment and systems. The top of this floor scrubber opens to reveal containers that can be filled with detergent and water. Then, the operator can plug in the scrubber and push it along the floor using the rotatable handle. Two rollers on the underside of the machine scrub the floor, and two squeegees remove water as the scrubber moves forwards. Removing water after the floor has been scrubbed is useful in preventing water damage. When the waste water tank is full, it can be detached from the body of the scrubber and emptied. For convenience, the roller brushes, squeegees, and wheels can be removed, cleaned, and replaced without tools.
