The JC V1S is a reprogramming tool that is used for testing and reprogramming various iPhone components. The device can be used to transfer serial number information from an iPhone's old screen to a new replacement screen. This allows a user to keep TrueTone functionality.
Serial number information can also be transferred from additional components to keep most functions. These components include the battery, haptic engine, and the home button but Touch ID will still be lost.
