An infant measuring device is used to obtain a baby’s exact measurements. Most of these devices are rods can either be mounted to a wall or table, or used portably with a patient. Baby measuring rods are used in nurseries, pediatric offices, and hospitals. Some rods include large calipers for precise measurements as the baby is lying down. Some baby measuring rods also include a scale for obtaining the baby’s weight.
