These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.

The IBM Model M is an extremely high quality keyboard, which was released first in 1985, with the IBM 3161 terminal. Later, it was included with the IBM PC XT, the PC AT, the PC XT/286, and the PS/2 series of computers. These keyboards responsible for the modern 101/103 key layout, and famous for the legendary buckling spring switches. IBM stopped manufacturing these keyboards in 1999, but a small american company, Unicomp still manufactures these keyboards in the same factory, with the same tooling, with the same design.
