Background and Identification

The Hilti Demolition Hammer TE 3000 (2017) is a device designed for, well, destruction. It is optimized to make demo-day as efficient as possible, with the ability to forcefully impact the ground up to 860 times per minute. The Hilti Demolition Hammer TE 3000 is built for heavy-duty demolition of concrete flooring. In addition to concrete, it can also be used to break up asphalt, which is useful in road building, road repair, and road pipe laying.

Hilti offers tool service for the Demolition Hammer TE 3000. Hilti provides free service for the demolition hammer for two years. Additionally, Hilti offers a warranty that covers “manufacturing irregularities” for 20 years. Hilti also sells a range of accessories for the Demolition Hammer TE 3000, including a tool cart transportation trolley, a dust removal system, extraction heads, and a detachable power cord. The dust removal system boasts removing up to 95% of dust particles. Furthermore, the Demolition Hammer TE 3000 has built-in active vibration reduction (AVR) technology, which aims to reduce user fatigue from operating the demolition hammer.

The Hilti Demolition Hammer TE 3000 has a base that houses internal components and includes two handles. Extending downward from the base is the high-impact hammer itself. The TE 3000 is red and black in color, with the Hilti logo and “TE 3000-AVR” printed in white on the front of the device.
