Within GE’s involvement in the healthcare industry, GE has produced numerous ultrasound machines. GE ultrasound machines aim to provide exceptional images through a variety of systems that are specialized for various scenarios. For instance, GE offers ultrasound machines for general imaging, women’s health, cardiovascular, primary care, urology, etc. The different lines of GE ultrasounds include GE EchoPac, GE Logiq, GE Portascan, GE Venue 50, GE Vivid, and GE Voluson ultrasound machines. GE also offers ultrasound service and support for its machines.
GE ultrasound machines utilize ultrasonography to help in treating patients. Medical ultrasounds work by creating an image of internal body structures that aren’t normally visible. They do this by sending sound waves with high frequencies (outside of the human-hearing spectrum) at the surface. The variation in how these sound waves are reflected is what allows the ultrasound image to be created. Ultrasounds are commonly used in monitoring pregnancy, but they have numerous applications throughout medicine.
