Fisher and Paykel Dryer

Fisher & Paykel is a New Zealand-based home appliance manufacturer founded in 1934 by Woolf Fisher and Maurice Paykel. The company first imported and sold American appliances in New Zealand, but soon began manufacturing its own products. Fisher & Paykel dryers boast SmartLoad technology.

• Front-load dryers
  • Dryers manufactured before January 2001: the model number can be found on the top middle of the back panel or inside the dryer around the drum.
  • Dryers manufactured after January 2001: the model number is located on the inside of the door on the upper right-hand side of the door cavity around the drum. Common models include the DE4024P1, DE7027P2, and DE6060M1.
• Top-load dryers
  • The model number is located on the back of the display board, on the left-hand of the appliance.
