The Electric Eel Drain Cleaner model SK-R-5/16EIC25 is made by Electric Eel Manufacturing, an Ohio-based drain cleaning equipment supplier that was founded in 1939. This is a drill drain cleaner, which means that it is a small, handheld cleaner that is best used for sinks and bathroom drains. The operator presses a trigger, which rotates a cable. The spinning cable dislodges blockages in the pipes. This drill drain cleaner is equipped with a cable that is 5/16” in diameter, and can clean out drains and pipes of up to 25 feet, with pipe diameters measuring up to 3 inches wide.
The cable and frame of this drill drain cleaner are made to resist rusting, which increases the lifespan of the tool. Users of this machine should note that it can have several different variations of cable.
