Background and Identification
Digiland is an Italian electronics company founded in 2011. Digiland makes budget tablets that run Windows (only on the DL801W and DL808W) or Android software. To accompany the operating system, Digiland tablets use either an ARM processor or a mobile Intel processor. Many of Digiland’s tablets include a slot for an SD card (or microSD card) so that you can expand your storage space above what is provided at purchase. The tablets usually have a rear camera and a front camera for taking selfies or video calling. They also include Wi-Fi so you can connect to the internet and Bluetooth so you can connect to a speaker or wireless headphones.
You can identify a Digiland tablet by looking for the name “Digiland“ written on the back of the device. To find the model number, look in the “About” section of the Settings app on Android as shown in this guide from WikiHow. For Digiland Windows tablets, find the model by running the simple command shown on this guide from Micro Center.
The most common part to fail on a tablet is the battery. Luckily, most Digiland tablets have either removable batteries or batteries which are easily replaceable once you remove the back of the device. You may also be able to replace a cracked screen fairly easily because many Digiland tablets use screws instead of glue to hold the tablet together.
