Background

At release in December 2017, the Dell Inspiron 13-7370 (part of the 7000 series from Dell) was sold as a light 13.3-inch personal laptop aimed at the average consumer market for business, personal, and education based computing. The 737 is the successor to the Dell E6330 and the predecessor to the Dell 7390. This device has since been discontinued for an unknown reason. At its release, the Dell Inspiron 13-7370 was a mid-spec laptop with an Intel Core I-5 processor, 6GB of ram, a 256GB Solid State Drive, Intel integrated UHD Graphics 620, and a 1920x1080p resolution. With this kind of power many saw the Dell Inspiron 13-7370 as a competitor to the MacBook Air (along side other competitors). The Dell Inspiron 13-7370 came with a touchscreen, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and a pre-installed version of Windows 10.

Unlike many of the other products released by Dell around this time, the Dell Inspiron 13-7370 came is very poor packaging. Thankfully, the setup time (assuming you had Wi-Fi) made up for the awful packaging. Boasting a reflective screen, the 7370 had a clear picture that was solid competition for other similar devices at the time.

Many reviews online come back with one major complaint: the onboard speakers. With Dell creating a super slim laptop, there had to be sacrifices made somewhere, and in the case of this device that sacrifice came with the speakers. Two thin speakers were stated to produce a small wining sound that would project off of a desk. However, many state that the headphone jack was stellar. Another downfall came at the battery life. With its tiny battery, the Dell Inspiron 13-7370 was only able to stream video for nearly 5 hours out of the box. Many state they never made it a full workday without requiring a charger.

The 7370 does make a comeback with its many features such as 3 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, headphone/microphone jack, 3-1 SD port, touchscreen capability, 3.09lbs weight, and MSRP of $600.
