Background and Identification
The DeVilbiss Pulmo-Aide Compressor Nebulizer System provides effective aerosol treatment. It converts the prescribed liquid medication into a fine mist so that it can enter the lungs of the patient. It uses a compressor to convert medication into mist form for inhalation. This device and its various models can be used with adults or children. The device is approved for use with TOBI (tobramycin solution for inhalation).

The DeVilbiss 5650 comes in two parts that work together, a compressor and a nebulizer. The compressor has a storage compartment, power cord storage, nebulizer holder, a carry handle and normally comes in a cream or beige color. The word “Pulmo-Aide” is featured on the front of the device. The Nebulizer component may be reusable depending on the purchase but includes several parts such as mouthpiece, cap, tubing, and a medication cup.
