Background

The Classen TR-20H is a hydro-drive turf rake that can be converted into a spring-tine rake, turf seeder, or vertical cutter. A turf rake (also called a dethatcher or lawn scarifier) is a device that removes thatch from lawns. (Thatch is the layer of organic material that accumulates on lawns around grass plants).

This model includes a folding handle to make transport easier. It also can be adjusted for the height of the operator, with five different height options. It can operate at infinite speeds between 0 and 3.4 miles per hour. It features 28 heat-treated flail blades that are spaced 11/16-inch apart and are adjustable up to 1-3/8-inch.

The TR-20H model includes a 5.5-horsepower Honda GX160 engine. This engine produces 7.60 foot-pounds of torque at 2,500 revolutions per minute and can operate at a maximum speed of 3,600 revolutions per minute. The Honda GX160 can hold up to 3.3 quarts of fuel and 0.61 quarts of oil. Honda recommends using unleaded 86 octane or higher fuel for this engine.

Identification
