Background and Identification

Cell washing systems, also known as cell washing centrifuges, are used to cleanse cells from unnecessary material and contaminants. The most common cell washing systems are used to treat red blood cells. Blood cell washing centrifuges remove the plasma from the red blood cells so that the substance in the plasma doesn’t interfere with antigen-antibody reaction.
