Background

The Vixia model number HF R62, released for the consumer market in February 2015, is the 6th generation entry-level HD camcorder made by Canon. It has wireless connectivity capability and a 32x optical Zoom/ 57x advanced zoom. The camera is also YouTube ready with slow and fast motion capabilities and an optical image stabilizer. It has 32 GB of built-in memory with optional SD Card compatibility.

As with most devices, this camera was replaced with the next generation camera, The Vixia HF R72.
