The Breville BCG800XL Smart Grinder is a coffee grinder with a conical burr that uses Breville’s Dosing IQ technology to automatically adjust the dose of coffee whenever the user changes the grind. Users can choose between ‘cups’ for French press or filtered coffee or ‘shots’ for espresso, and the grinder chooses the right dose depending on the grind setting.
Users can choose between automatic and manual grinding modes and can adjust the grind using a wheel on the side of the machine. Users can view and change their selection using the liquid crystal display (LCD). The grinder includes an ‘Adjust Amount’ knob that can adjust the dosing if users prefer stronger or weaker brews.
