Background

The Bosch 1250DVS Sander presents two different sanding options: a very harsh turbo driven, orbit sanding mode for aggressive sanding, and also a more traditional orbit sanding mode for normal and fine finishes. The switch on the side lets the user change sanding mode with ease. The different speeds are set using a speed dial and Constant Response circuitry will continue to keep the desired speed. It has a PowerGrip, a contoured head, compact 7.7 inch diameter circumference barrel, and standard-equipment auxiliary handle. This model carries a nonresistant dust collection system. The dust port comes in the right sizes for the optional Bosch vac hoses, and the adapter is included for attachment to 1-1/4 inch and 1-1/2 inch hoses.

Identification

The Bosch Sander 1295DVS is a blue colored dual mode sander with a red switch on the side that lets you quickly move from one mode to another. The back has a red dial which lets you choose how aggressive the sander can be on the project. Bosch makes several 6-inch hook-and-loop sanding pads and discs that will fit this model, including discs for paint, wood, and special applications.
