Background and Identification
Robert Bosch GmbH, commonly known as Bosch and stylized as BOSCH, is a German multinational engineering and technology company headquartered in Gerlingen, Germany. The company was founded by Robert Bosch in Stuttgart in 1886. Bosch's core operating areas are spread across four business sectors: mobility (hardware and software), consumer goods (including household appliances and power tools), industrial technology (including drive and control), and energy and building technology.
In 1933, Bosch presented its first electric refrigerator for private households. In 1964, they released their first dishwasher. The company has since introduced new features to its dishwashers such as adjustable racks and quiet operation.
The most common Bosch dishwashers include:
- The Ascenta Series: The Entry-level Bosch dishwasher line.
- The 300 Series: These models offer additional features compared to the Ascenta Series, such as a more flexible rack system and increased energy efficiency.
- The 500 Series: These dishwashers offer improved performance and more features such as better sound insulation and AutoAir drying.
- The 800 Series: The best performance and features such as the MyWay third rack, CrystalDry drying technology, and ultra-quiet operation.
The most common problem consumers experience today is when their Bosch dishwasher won't drain.
