Background and Identification

The Bird TBird is a revolutionary ventilatory system designed to sit with the patient throughout their care. The TBird employs a revolutionary turbine technology in a compact and durable package perfect for ill patients. There is no need to change ventilators as you move your patient, and there are separate ventilators for acute care. Most ICU ventilators depend on an air compressor or a piped system while the TBird is self contained.

The TBird is fully capable of being an independent and mobile respirator. It also incorporates many important safety features including apnea backup ventilation which automatically activates whenever patient apnea is detected. The internal battery provides emergency power in a power outage or during transportation while the external battery provides additional power.
