Anaerobic chambers are used for chemical procedures that are oxygen-sensitive. Often called “anaerobic glove boxes,” these devices allow researchers, lab techs, and clinicians to accurately control the exposure of their substances or cell cultures to atmospheric oxygen, as well as the level of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and humidity.
