Background and Identification

The AirSep NewLife Intensity is an oxygen concentrator made by AirSep. An oxygen concentrator is a medical or industrial device that concentrates the oxygen from either ambient air or another gas supply. Oxygen concentrators selectively remove nitrogen and other gases from the air to provide an oxygen-enriched stream. AirSep is a producer of non-cryogenic oxygen and nitrogen supply solutions. AirSep’s solutions are designed as an alternative to gas generators and gas cylinders.

The AirSep NewLife Intensity oxygen concentrator can deliver between two and ten liters per minute of oxygen. The machine includes a 20 pounds per square inch outlet pressure. When operating between two and nine liters per minute, the machine produces air with 92-percent oxygen purity. At ten liters per minute, the air produced is 90-percent oxygen.

The NewLife Intensity dual-flow units are equipped to deliver oxygen to two patients at the same time from just one machine. The oxygen concentrator draws 590 Watts of power. The Intensity model is designed for long-term care facilities where high oxygen flow is needed.

The NewLife Intensity concentrator can be identified by the name “NewLife Intensity” printed in large cursive font on the front of the device. The name “AirSep” is also printed in cursive font on the front of the machine.
